The present work investigates the influence of environmental conditions on the dynamic response of an existing reinforced concrete bridge based on the analysis of structural health monitoring data. A simple analytical model was used with vibration data collected over a one-year period. Results illustrate how environmental conditions impact the dynamic response of existing reinforced concrete bridges suggesting the importance of considering such effects in the interpretation of structural health monitoring data for a reliable accurate damage detection and assessment.
