Following the 2009 earthquake that affected the Abruzzo region of Italy, it was produced a sheet to support the design activity of reconstruction of historic centers of L'Aquila.

On the basis of the data reported on the sheets regarding damage and seismic vulnerabilities surveyed according to simplified models, analyses aimed at assessing the effects of the earthquake on masonry buildings were carried out with particular reference to masonry quality, connections between masonry septa and connections between vertical, horizontal and roof structures. These assessments can be used as support for design choices to be made on both protected and ordinary historic building stock.
